Wild and Wonderful Flowers

After such a lot of wet and dreary weather this last May, it’s been a joy on my local walks around the Nottingham Canal, fields and woodlands to see the abundance of wild flowers everywhere!

The delight of seeing close up the red campion, may blossom, buttercups, daisies, speedwell, vetches and the beautiful cow parsley to name a few.

And so, I have decided on my next art venture by sketching and making stensils and print blocks to provide the base for my machine embroidery.

I look forward to sharing my work soon…events and opportunities to display work are coming up like new shoots!
